• Operations Administration: The Operations Administrators (OAs) are the senior administrative representatives on site during evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. These individuals are all RNs w/ management backgrounds who act as a resource to physicians, front-line staff and/or departments.

• Areas the OAs provide assistance or guidance about include, but are not limited to: policy interprepretation, patient placement, bed flow, risk management issues, and concerns of both internal/external customers. In addition, the Operations Administrators are key personnel for activation of the HEICS (Hospital Emergency Incident Command System) and assume the role of Incident Commander during initiation.
